Although not the actual truck used in the movie, "A Christmas Story," this 1939 Ford is nearly identical to it. In the iconic scene where Flick's tongue is stuck to a flagpole after being "triple-dog dared," a firetruck almost identical to this one pulls up, and the firemen try to figure out how to get him loose. This truck has been restored and marked with the crest of the fictional town of Holman, Indiana, where the movie was set.
Fire truck is located in Cleveland, Ohio, at the "A Christmas Story" house and museum.
