"Protruding stone memorial pedestal set partly into wall of Churchyard, consisting of an inscribed WW1 bronze plaque attached within a recess, above which, is a lintel incorporating an incised inscription. Above lintel is a further WW2 bronze plaque in another recess. Rising from top of pedestal is a rectangular sectioned, half-moulded stone plinth with a rectangular sectioned Latin cross & Sword of Sacrifice in relief on front face. The two bronze plaques replaced earlier stone tablets which were badly weathered & illegible."
