The Kemptville Fire Brigade dates back to 1855. The North Grenville Fire Services cover Kemptville and the rest of the former townships of South Gower and Oxford-on-Rideau.
This 2012 International WorkStar, also known as Pumper 1, is based at Station #1, Kemptville Fire Services. This pumper's tank holds more than 2500 gallons.
Even though I photographed Pumper 1 on the grounds of the former agricultural college, the posted co-ordinates refer to Station #1. This fire station dates from 2009. The address is 259 County Road 44.
