This sundial is located on the wall of a house in the Hofgasse in Brixen.
The sundial is painted in the colours ochre, white, grey and red on the house wall and is labeled with Arabic and Roman numerals. In the centre is the coat of arms of the municipality of Brixen: a silver lamb, imbued with gold and stepping to the right, looking back at a silver flag with a red cross carried with the front leg. It shows the Agnus Dei with the Christ flag, the diocesan coat of arms of Bolzano-Brixen.
The iron bar for reading the time protrudes from the wall and is fixed by two smaller metal bars.
