Pecan Gap is a city of about 200 people, and besides Cooper, the county seat, it is the only other incorporated community in Delta County. Besides the bare-bones listing by the United Methodist Church (see Primary website), this church doesn't have any significant Internet presence beyond web-spidered listings. There are a few pages devoted to Pecan Gap in the Images of America volume, "Delta County", and one notes that this church was established in 1883 as part of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South. This is their second sanctuary, built in 1918, with twenty-four beautiful stained glass windows.
