Located in the Maplewood Memorial Lawn Cemetery, section 25, Lot 47, Space 5 in Emporia, KS. He is buried in a family plot. An obelisk with the names of other White family members surrounded by a brick walkway is near the closest road.
Description:

William Allen White was a newspaper editor, author, and politician. He had 22 works published1. Five U.S. Presidents and other famous people visited him at his home, Red Rocks, also in Emporia. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1923 and appeared on the cover of Time Magazine on Oct. 6, 19242.
