The disk simply states "Water Survey of Canada", with the additional markings A2017 32.

The actual hydrometric station is located a short distance to the south-east of the disk. The disk is used for a reference point in locating the WSC station.

The disk is located between the gauge and the Highway 63 bridge over Poplar Creek. Easiest access is to travel north on Highway 63 and exit to the right just as you are approaching the Poplar Creek bridge.
