This splash fountain stands near to the eastern end of the Millennium Town Park.

The park was built as a reclamation project on the site of a former gas works.
Called Millennium Park because the original plan was to open it for the Milennium, but lack of funding delayed the project and it did not open until 2011.
This fountain stands at the eastern end of the park and is the form of a paved area with 24 water jets.
In warm weather the jets are a favourite place for playing in and cooling down. There are changing rooms in the nearby toilets inside the park.
