Bronze marker affixed to a concrete base in Zwaanendael Park in Lewes. The marker is dedicated to those who served in World Wars One and Two, in particular those who died in service.
The marker is at the base of a flagpole.
Marker text reads:
In honor of those who made
The Supreme Sacrifice and
Of those who served in
World Wars I and II. They
Have fought, "To safeguard
And transmit to posterity
The principles of justice,
freedom and democracy."
