The original Rex Theater was opened in the 1940's and was open till the late 1960's. A new owner bought the theater and re-opened in 2000 under the name Rex II Theater.

This is a one-screen theater which shows current movies although not the moment they are released. The theater has one evening showing on Wednesdays, two on Thursdays and Fridays, three on Saturdays and two on Sundays. The theater is closed on Monday and Tuesdays. New features begin on a Friday and run through Thursday. It is possible to rent the theater for private parties, or private showings. Phone: 580-367-2000.
