The building is located near Harvard's Science Building. It is east of Massachusetts Avenue and North of Cambridge Street.
The building is a long, narrow structure standing about 2 stories high and has a peaked roof. The dated stone is on the western chimney. The front of the building is decorated with ornamentation in dark and light sandstone. There are arches to a porch to the front entrance.
According to Wikipedia, this building is reported to be the first building built for an American Law School, and is the first home of Harvard's Law School. it was built between 1882 and 1884.
