This gymnasium/auditorium is a one-story building constructed of untooled and uncoursed native sand stone. It was constructed during the period 1938-1940. Located on McPherson Street, this building is among the current high school buildings.
Across the front of the building is a 5 ft. deep arcade, with nine arched openings. Each opening has a pre-formed concrete arch. In the 1980's this arcade had been enclosed and not used, but it has been re-opened and a metal door on either side give access to the interior. This arcade has a shed roof with metal siding. All of the window openings have been covered over with metal siding.
On the upper wall of the facade are three circular window openings. They currently have the letters C H S on them (Caddo High School). The roof has a triangular pediment with cast stone coping.
