St. Luke's Anglican Church was built in 1851 to serve the newly growing areas of Havre des Pas, Georgetown and Greve D’Azette following the influx of British service men and their families connected with the garrison established at Fort Regent.

The main church building has a single bell held externally on the church roof, but at some point a separate tower of bells was built in an open metal frame.

The new tower holds eight bells with the smallest at the top and the largest at the bottom.

St. Helier is the patron saint of Jersey and the bottom bell has the following inscription.
HELIER
PATRON OF THIS ISLAND
PRAY FOR US
