The main building (north building) was built in 1909-1910, just after Oklahoma Statehood. It was operated as Presbyterian College for Girls from 1910 to 1966. It became co-educational in 1951. In 1975, the building was purchased by the Red River Valley Historical Society. Today it belongs to the Choctaw Nation.
A second building was constructed just south of the first in 1918. The two buildings are rather similar in style, and are connected by a covered walkway. A "T" off the back of the second building was added in 1923 which houses a pool and auditorium.
The original building is three stories high and has a wide staircase leading to its east-facing entrance, flanked with brick/stone sidewalls and cast stone urns. The entrance consists of two doors with sidelights and transom. In front of the doors is a balconied terrace. Above the entrance on two flanking brick pilasters are cast stone floral designs with an open book. One panel reads: "A.D." and the other reads: "1909". Windows in both buildings are nine-over-nine hung sashes some singles, others doubles, fours or fives. Over the entrance of the north building cast in stone are the words: "Presbyterian College" and above that, the Choctaw Nation has added "Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma". The ground floor was classrooms, as well as the wings on the second floor. The upper floor held dormitories.
The buildings were placed on the National Register in 1976.
