Canadians at the Gothic Line encountered several types of German tanks and self-propelled assault guns, such as this German Sturmgeschütz III (or StuG III). An effective close-range anti-tank weapon, the Stug III's deadly 75 millimeter high velocity gun made it a powerful and dangerous adversary.
