There doesn't seem to be any grand historical significance to this building. It simply just caught my eye due to the colour, the ornateness of carvings around the windows and on the sills, and of course the dome with clock.
The white-faced clock is encircled by an ornate carved wreath of sorts that is painted green. The numbers are roman numerals and the sizable hands are black.
