Der Heurigenmusiker und Zitherspieler wurde am 7. Juli 1906 im Haus Leystraße 46 geboren, wo er bis zu seinem 19. Lebensjahr wohnte. Als Schöpfer und Interpret des "Harry-Lime-Themas" wurde er durch den Film "Der Dritte Mann" (Regie: Carol Reed, 1949) weltberühmt.

The Heurigen musician and zither player was born on July 7, 1906 at house Leystraße 46, where he lived until the age of nineteen. As the creator and interpreter of the "Harry Lime Theme", he became world famous through the movie "The Third Man" (directed by Carol Reed, 1949).
