P J Crook & the Cheltenham Gold Cup
2010 was the centenary of the running of the Gold Cup so the racecourse and the Cheltenham Art Gallery commissioned PJ to design a sculpture that could be cast in fibreglass and be painted by various artists and groups.
Thirteen were cast with a steel frame inside them.
The horses were displayed at the time and then sold and spread widely. This horse named "Daydream" was kept by the artist herself.
