P J Crook & the Cheltenham Gold Cup
2010 was the centenary of the running of the Gold Cup so the racecourse and the Cheltenham Art Gallery commissioned PJ to design a sculpture that could be cast in fibreglass and be painted by various artists and groups.

Thirteen were cast with a steel frame inside them.

The horses were displayed at the time and then sold and spread widely. This horse named "Nightmare" was painted with various items from the museum and was bought back.
