One of several manhole covers along Aleksanterinkatu, complimenting an installation, 'Kluuvinlahti Fossils'. Each cover shows pictures of the water and wetland animals and plants – some of them extinct – that lived along the shores of the bay.

A series of cast iron man-hole covers were made to complement the art installation 'Kluuvinlahden fossiilit / Kluuvinlahti Fossils' by artist Tuula Närhinen, on the stone pavement of Aleksanterinkatu street. All are different and show pictures of the water and wetland animals and plants – some of them extinct –– that lived along the shores of the bay.

Sarja valurautaisia man-reikäisiä peitteitä tehtiin taiteilija Tuula Närhisen taideteoksen "Kluuvinlahden fossiilit / Kluuvinlahden fossiilien" täydentämiseksi Aleksanterinkadun kivikiven päälle. Kaikki ovat erilaisia ja näyttävät kuvia vettä ja kosteikkoja eläimistä ja kasveista - joista osa on sukupuuttoon - jotka asuivat pitkin lahden rantoja.
