A huge iron wheel at a storage rental lot has got to make you wonder.

The business owner obviously has a great admiration for the mining business that was so important to this part of the country. The wheel has nothing to do with the long/short term rental storage business. But I'm sure there are a lot of people who stop by to find out why it's there. That seems to be ok with them. There is room for a couple of cars to park near the wheel so that you can walk over, take a photo and learn the wheel's history.
Type of Machine: wheel used for steam powering a compressor in the mining of copper

Year the machine was built: 1905

Year the machine was put on display: 1993

Is there online documentation for this machine: [Web Link]
