EN: This fountain stands on a fork in the center of Seltisberg on a paved square.
The fountain has two stone troughs; the larger one is still provided with a metal ring on which the cattle used to be tethered during watering. The column is dated 1886 at the front and has a stone acorn at the top.
Like other fountains in Seltisberg, it was given a name tag and cleaned to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the municipal water supply.
DE: Dieser Brunnen steht an einer Abzweigung im Zentrum von Seltisberg auf einem gepflasterten Platz.
Der Brunnen hat zwei Steintröge; der grössere davon ist noch mit einem Metallring versehen, an denen früher das Vieh während des Tränkens angebunden wurde. Die Säule ist an der Vorderseite mit 1886 datiert und hat eine steinerne Eichel an der Spitze.
Wie andere Brunnen in Seltisberg wurde dieser zum Anlass des 100-Jahr-Jubiläums der Wasserversorgung mit einem Namensschild versehen und gereinigt.
