F 15A Wireless Truck (Wire-5)

Commanders used extensive communication networks to coordinate the massive movement of vehicles, soldiers and equipment on Second World War battlefields.

Canadian Military Pattern "Wireless" radio trucks like this one acted as mobile communication centres. Two signallers working in the back of this vehicle used its powerful radio set to link Canadian units on the front line with their brigade or division headquarters.
