Diamond T Breakdown Truck
During the Second World War, Canadians used breakdown trucks like this one to recover and transport damaged vehicles to repair facilities.
Recovery teams from the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps valued this powerful vehicle because its tow booms lifted five short ton each, allowing for quicker vehicle recovery under difficult and dangerous conditions.
