On the Big Sheep Creek Bridge, benchmark hunters will find this likely to be the easiest to find of all benchmarks along the Old Cascade Highway. About 25 kilometres west from Rossland, it's monumented in the east face of the west abutment, about a foot from the south end.
On a really hot day one may well be tempted to
accidentally fall in the creek while getting pix of the benchmark. It's
Really Wet and it's
Really Cold.
