This service station has been meticulously restored and now houses an historical museum. The station is built in the Mission Revival style and has a flat roof, and a band of green tile faux roof above the bays. There are two bays, which have been converted to segmented windows. The gas pump area was located under a porte chochere. The building has a stucco finish, and has green trim, including a green tile water table. The entrance has a single door, flanked by an 8-pane sidelight and display window. The clerestory is still visible.
The museum is operated by the Durant Historical Society and is open Tues-Thurs from 1-5 and Saturday from 11-3. It has occupied this station since 1976.
