The KP Park Wetland informational sign is located at the corner of Sayward Avenue and Riverside Avenue, look for the fire hydrant. It is near the KP Park campgrounds.

The Village of Salmo and members from the Nelson Rod and Gun Club, participated in the construction of the wetland in KP Park, a green space in the heart of Salmo. The wetland increases the green infrastructure by acting as a storm water retention pond and provides habitat to a variety of wildlife species and native plants and grasses.

The KP Park Wetland informational sign explains its history and development of the wetland and the benefits it provides.
