Dr. Pepper didn't begin in Dublin, it began in Waco. The history of Dublin Bottling Works begins in 1891, when Sam Houston Prim got the rights to bottle the drink, and Dublin became home to the first facility to actually bottle Dr. Pepper.
The mural shows how the advertising for Dr. Pepper changed over the years from horse and buggy days to modern times. The Dublin Bottling Works lost the right to bottle Dr. Pepper in 2012.
