The entrance to the Connecticut College Arboretum is located on Williams Street opposite Chapel Way, west of the main campus of Connecticut College.

The Connecticut College Arboretum is a 750 acre tract of land which is part of Connecticut College. The arboretum was founded in 1931. A self guided, 2 mile long, trail through the arboretum has 10 locations:
1. Maple Swamp
2. Magnolia Family
3. Conifer Collection
4. Pond
5. Bolleswood Natural Area
6. Bog
7. Nut Trees
8. Former Hemlock Forest
9. Buck Lodge
10. Outdoor Theater
11. Holly, Viburnum & Azalea
The arboretum is open free to the public every day from dawn to dusk.
