The town hall and police department are located in a building at 110 W. Main. On the west wall of the building, painted on brick is a mural showing early life in the town. The creator has signed Robertson, but no date is shown.

A two-story frame building is shown at the left, with citizens walking throughout town in the long dresses and parasols, and suits of the day. A horse-drawn buggy is shown, as well as a small wagon pulled by a horse, with an Amish rider. At the center of the mural, an arched window has been infilled with a mirror.
