County of gazebo: Douglas County
Location of gazebo: bordered by: Campbellton St., E. Strickland St., Malone St., & Parker St., Douglasville
Phone: 770-920-3000

When I visited there was only ONE picnic table, and it was inside the gazebo. A butterfly garden called "The Mayors Monarch Butterfly Garden," and a four-sided microwave tower is all I saw in this park, besides, of course, trees and grass.

"The Douglasville Parks & Recreation Department has several first class facilities available for rental. The Ike Owings Community Center at Hunter Park, and the Alice J. Hawthorne Center at Jessie Davis Park both have beautiful facilities available for public functions.

"Worthan Park is located at the intersection of Highway 92 and Strickland Street. This 3 acre park offers a gazebo, picnic tables and a passive area for patrons to enjoy. Worthan Park is open from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm Monday - Sunday. Contact Jessie Davis Park for rental information." ~ Douglasville Parks & Recreation
