Reading between the Lines, also called the see-through church.
The see-through church is located in the Haspengouw hill country south of Borgloon, between the town and the Roman Kashsei, and can be regarded as landscape art. The whole is made up of horizontal corten steel plates, connected by welded square plates. The whole is pushed into a concrete foundation in the rolling Loon landscape. The form refers to the archetype of the Western European Church.

This "church" located on a walking path is very strange. As one gets closer, it gradually appears that it is not a church. The "building" is, through the use of horizontally placed steel sheets, more or less transparent, hence the name of the artwork. This transparency is all the more evident when one enters the "church".

In mid-June 2016, the see-through church functioned as the setting for a musical event called Listening between the Sounds by the vocal ensemble Florilegium. The first cell suite of J.S. was brought to life in the early morning through an invented staging. Bach (BWV 1007), then Gregorian music, the Flemish polyphony with Pierre de la Rue, Arvo Pärt and an impressive 4'33 "silence by John Cage where the conductor stopped the poor with conducting.

The see-through church and the Memento installation by Wesley Meuris is the setting for a video clip called Rise Like Lions by Diablo Boulevard. The see-through church can also be seen in Come Home by singer Axeela.
