This is the Newark Diner, located in downtown Newark, N.Y..(Note: the diner is no longer here, but the waymark is still eligible for visits by those who visited before it was closed and hauled away).

This Diner has been a local landmark since the late 50's.
It was manufactured by Sterling Dining Cars in 1939 and is model #397. The special at the Newark diner is the Trash Plate and on Fridays' is it the Fresh Fish Fry Dinner plate. The restaurant has gone through a few upgrades and modifications over the years, but still has a lot of its original charm.
