The Fox Theater is the second largest theater in the country behind only Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The Fox was built in 1928 for William Fox co-founder of 20th-Centry Fox. Current owners, Mike and Marion Ilitch, had the theater cleaned and completly restored in 1988. Today, the theater proudly anchors Detroit's theater district serving as the city's main venue for Braoadway shows.
