This U.S. Coast and Geodesic Survey Benchmark Disk is set in the bottom step at the front door of the old Kenton Union Grade School building. The building is no longer a school, but is still in use. The disk is stamped K 12 (how appropriate for a school building!) and dated 1939.

Note: the coordinates of this waymark differ slightly from those given in the GL0356 data sheet.
