This church is located in a very prominent Pennsylvania Dutch area so it is not surprising that this building is a show stopper when first viewed. Without knowing what it was, I knew I had to explore the location a little and when I saw the church sign, I was really surprised. I know nothing about architecture but upon first look, I thought this might be in the Federal style but when I got closer I noticed little details which I don't think are part of that style. I could find nothing at all about the building itself and very little about the church which uses it.
The website for the Bethany Romanian Church of God indicates that it serves the Romanian community but gives little information about their beliefs. If the building hadn't been so out of place in its location, it would not have attracted any attention.
