Minnie Tucker Hunter was born on December 11, 1886 and passed away on February 4, 1990 at the age of 103. She is laid to rest alongside her husband, Jeff David Hunter who died in 1964, 26 years before her.

Minnie saw many amazing things happen during her lifetime:
* During her first year, the Dawes Act was passed which divided Indian land into individual allotments for Indians.
* She was 2-1/2 when the Oklahoma Land Run opened up parts of Indian Territory for white settlement.
* She was 4 when Idaho and Wyoming became States.
* When she was 6 years old, General Electric was founded.
* In 1896 when she was 10, Utah became a State.
* The Spanish American War began when Minnie was 12 in 1898.
* The first baseball World Series was held the year she was 17.
* Minnie was 31 when the U.S. entered World War I, and she was 55 when we entered World War II.
* She saw a huge industrial and technology spurt in the late 1800's and early 1900's. The Hubble Space Telescope was launched the year she passed away.
