THe Richmond Fire House dates from the late 19th century. It was home of Richmond's first horse-drawn fire wagons, Known as Hose House #1, the firehouse remained open until the 1970's, when modern facilities were built.
Today, the firehouse is home to a very popular music restaurant, the Firehouse BBQ and Blues. It still retains many of the original firehouse decorations.
