To reach this facility, you have to drive down a private drive from the intersection of NW 3rd Street and West C Avenue. The WPA appropriation for this project was $95,037 so we assume it involved several pieces of construction and a water system. The building we are featuring sits among other structures, including what looks on the aerial, like large concrete tanks near the creek.

This little building is about 6 ft by 15 ft. and has a flat concrete roof. The walls are a concrete block, and there is a wood door and no windows. The project was completed in 1939.

Project type: Government building (non-park)

Date built or created: 1939

City: Waurika, OK

Condition: Good upkeep with a little wear and tear
