Everything I read the fishing is supposed to be good here. On my trip I only caught a couple of bass on a square bill along the dam.

"Largemouth bass fishing in this 94 acre water supply lake in Ralls County will be very good. An electrofishing survey in the spring of 2017 indicated good numbers of bass between 12 and 20 inches long. Ten percent of the bass sampled were over 18 inches long, which will provide a fair chance for anglers to catch a memorable fish. Bluegill will also provide good fishing. Black crappie are present in moderate numbers with most fish between 8 and 11 inches long. Crappie anglers may want to fish around the 12 brush piles scattered around the lake. Channel catfish are stocked annually. Most catfish will be 12-20 inches long." (visit link)
