FJ0080 (U 149) at the 45th Division Memorial - Wewoka, OK - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

When the old Wewoka water tower was dismantled, the town re-purposed the foundation to establish a small memorial to honor the 45th Divison of the Oklahoma National Guard. The NGS benchmark associated with the tower was not disturbed by this work and can be found behind the new memorial plaque and flagpole. The disk, which is stamped U 149 and dated 1934, is battered but still readable.
