The Fernie Fire Department's 1928 Studebaker Commander is currently used for parades and other special events. It is nearly all-original and in excellent condition. One modification is the replacement of the original hand-cranked starter with an electric starter. The truck is parked at the Fernie Fire Station (British Columbia, Canada).
