The filial from the old pillar that stood by the old gates at the entrance to Queen Victoria Park in Niagara Falls. When the gates were slated for relocation and the pillar for demolition the owners of the Guildwood Inn and Art Park, as it was called then, petitioned for and received the filial as a reminder of architectural history.
It now adorns the custom cement frame the displays four limestone panels that once were used on the façade of the old Bank of Montreal building located at King and Bay Streets in downtown Toronto.
The Guild Inn Sculpture Park is located at 201 Guildwood Parkway in Scarborough.
