A pair of relief sculptures that once adorned the façade of the old North American Life Assurance Company head office at 112 King Street West in downtown Toronto.
The sculptures, carved in limestone, were located between the fifth and sixth floors of the building, facing inward. The artist is unknown.
When the building was slated for demolition in 1976 to make way for the new First Canadian Place, these panels were donated to the Guildwood Sculpture Park and Gardens, so that Toronto's artistic architectural paste may be preserved.
