The North American Life Assurance Company built their headquarters at 112 King Street West in downtown Toronto in 1932. They conducted business here until 1976, when NA Life partners with real este developers to build First Canadian Place on this and other neighbouring sites.

The angel panels which adorned the top of the façade, were donated to the Guildwood Sculpture Park in 1976.
