Relief of a stylized polar bear located on the grounds of the Guild Inn Estates Sculpture Park in Scarborough.
The bear, along with several other stylized relief animals, adorned the old Bank of Montreal building that stood in downtown Toronto from 1948 until 1972.
When the bank building was scheduled for demolition, arrangements were made to preserve these architectural and artistic treasures here at the former Guildwood Inn site.
