Fort Schlosser site marker. Nothing here but the 2 signs located near the water intakes for the power plant along the river. There are no NY State Markers, so these 2 markers are the only clues to the site. I believe the site was destroyed when the power plant intakes were built.
The marker says:

Constantly Threatened by the British in 1814 Fort Schlosser Served as a supply base for General Jacob Browns Troops
Group that erected the marker: New York State (assumption)
