The grave of 1st Lt. James Williamson is marked by a beautiful marble monument shaped to suggest the form of a Union soldier. The top has a sculpture of a soldier's cap and the front has a United States shield superimposed over a crossed sword and scabbard. A second shield, over the U.S. shield, contains the inscription:
