On a steep hill down from the suburb of Fairlight, to the flatter part of Manly is a beautiful Presbyterian Church, that has a tall, square Bell Tower. From Wikipedia, the Church was built in 1889, and is " one of the best examples of the Romanesque building style in Australia". (visit link)

The Bell Tower appears to have been built with the same sandstone blocks as the rest of the Church body. The Bell Tower is at the corner of Raglan Street and Augusta Lane, and opposite the Presbyterian Church Hall that was built in 1906. (visit link)

The following website has a cute comment from a parishioner, aged 4 years: "I've been coming to church here for the last 3 months. I love it because it looks like a castle and I get to ring the bell every week." (visit link)
