Located behind the historic Monroe United Methodist Church (a United Methodist Historic Site No. 323) is a memorial shelter comprised of a very long wooden table made of one solid piece of lumber housed under a roofed shelter. This shelter makes quite a presence behind the church and must be a popular venue for church functions during summer months.
Year built or dedicated as indicated on the structure or plaque: 2001
